daily bread.

WRITTEN BY CHARISSA MROWKA

This is your reminder that Jesus
has the words of eternal life (John 6).

The nature of these eternal words speaks to not just quantity,
but quality. Eternal life is not just a long life, but a life full of the fullness of life.

It is not enough to feed on words of life once a week.
You can’t eat once a week and expect to stay nourished and have a vibrant quality of life.
There’s a vibrancy of life you will miss out on if you choose not to eat.

Jesus told us to let His words abide in us.
Abiding is constant, remaining, staying…

If you feel like you’re lacking life …
if you feel weary, broke down, anxious, confused… come back to His words.
Read them, speak them, meditate on them, feast on them… daily.

There’s daily bread for you in His Word.
Learn to feed on His words and drink of His Spirit.

This will change your quality of life as you look to Jesus,
the Author and Perfector of your faith … your Glory and the Lifter of your head…
the strength of your heart and your Portion forever.

Where are your eyes?
Where are your ears?
Where’s your attention?
What are you feeding on?
